Holly adds: I have actually had a shop on Etsy since 2008, but I have never listed anything ;o(. It is time to change that. I have started to make charm bracelets using vintage (and new) items that I have collected over the years. Each one is unique. So, in the next few weeks I will be adding some items to my Etsy shop-hollymaren’s EPHEMERA ETCETERA. I will also be adding vintage jewelry and fun items for helping you create your own special art work.
I hope you will check it out (give me a few days)-thank you!
“Etsy is the world’s handmade marketplace.”
“Our mission is to empower people to change the way the global economy works. We see a world in which very-very small businesses have much-much more sway in shaping the economy, local living economies are thriving everywhere, and people value authorship and provenance as much as price and convenience. We are bringing heart to commerce and making the world more fair, more sustainable, and more fun.”
You can find just about anything here! Beautiful, funky, unique, one-of-a -kind, gorgeous items abound. I have included some pictures below of sample products picked at random.
Holly adds: this is technically an international company but this is the link to their USA branch. 70 + artists from the United States are featured.
THE MOUTH AND FOOT PAINTING ARTISTS
“The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists has been operating in America since 1961. The American publishing house, originally located in Buffalo, New York, moved its offices to Atlanta, Georgia, in July 2000.”
“Membership means that they will receive a monthly income for life regardless of whether increasing disability makes it impossible for them to continue providing artwork that the Association can market. This arrangement removes a great fear from the disabled artist – the possibility of losing one’s ability to paint through deteriorating health.”
